It was a huge week for fans of 16x GRAMMY award-winning artist Bruno Mars. The singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist/producer has announced his first solo project in a decade, The Romantic. Alongside news of the album release, the global superstar has released “I Just Might,” the first glimpse at the upcoming album, due out February 27 via Atlantic Records. With the release of the single came an official music video for the track, directed by Bruno Mars himself, along with Daniel Ramos.

These announcement come on the heels of continued chart topping success, with the Grammy award winning single “Die With A Smile” with Lady Gaga topping the Billboard Global 200 chart for 18 weeks and reaching one billion streams on Spotify faster than any song ever has, and “APT.” with ROSÉ, spending 19 weeks at number one on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Chart, 12 weeks at number one on the Billboard Global 200 Chart, earning multiple prestigious nominations, including three GRAMMY nominations, scoring a win for “Song of the Year” at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, and becoming the most globally streamed track of 2025 by Apple Music. In January of 2025, Bruno Mars surpassed 150 million monthly listeners on Spotify, becoming the first artist in Spotify history to do so and ranking him among one of Spotify’s top global artists. In 2022, Mars became the first artist to earn six Diamond-certified singles in RIAA history, and as of 2026, he has at least seven RIAA Diamond Certifications for songs like “Grenade,” “Uptown Funk,” “That’s What I Like,” “When I Was Your Man,” “Locked Out of Heaven,” “The Lazy Song,” and “Just the Way You Are,” which has become the highest-certified song in history at 21x RIAA Platinum.
In celebration and promotion of the new record, Bruno Mars will embark on “The Romantic Tour,” his first headlining tour in nearly a decade and his first full headlining stadium tour. Tickets went on sale last week, and not only did he break the Live Nation single-day ticket sales record with 2.1 million tickets sold, but due to overwhelming demand, an additional 32 shows were added. The Tour, which kicks off April 10 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, will span 70 dates, making stops across North America, Europe, and the UK at some of the world’s most legendary venues. Bruno Mars will be joined by Anderson .Paak and DJ Pee .Wee for all 70 dates, with additional support from Victoria Monét, RAYE, and Leon Thomas across select markets.
