The Levitate Music & Arts Festival has announced the lineup for its 14th year, returning to the Marshfield Fairgrounds in Marshfield, Massachusetts on July 18 and 19, 2026. What began as a local passion project has grown into one of New England’s most distinctive summer gatherings, and this year’s bill is shaping up to be one of the festival’s most ambitious yet.
Headlining the weekend is Alanis Morissette, whose influence on alternative music continues to resonate decades into her career. She’ll be joined by a mix of longtime Levitate favorites and first-time performers, including Americana standouts Caamp, Australian indie-pop duo Royel Otis, and the energetic Sammy Rae & The Friends. Returning to the stage are reggae icon Ziggy Marley, Massachusetts reggae-rock staples The Elovaters, and New Orleans powerhouse Trombone Shorty. The broader lineup stretches comfortably across genres, featuring acts like Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Pepper, The Movement, Larkin Poe, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, and more.

Beyond the music, Levitate continues to lean into its community-driven ethos. In partnership with the Levitate Foundation, the festival will host the second annual Songwriter’s Stage, spotlighting emerging and unsigned artists selected through a fan vote and industry panel. Four artists will earn the chance to perform for festival crowds and receive a grant to fund a professionally produced album. Building on that momentum, 2026 also marks the debut of the Levitate Visual Artist Showcase — a large-scale, two-day gallery installation featuring work from 10 visual artists, also chosen by fans and a curated panel.
“Last year’s Songwriter’s Stage was such a hit,” says Levitate founder Daniel Hassett. “It was amazing to see fans gather around and experience deserving emerging artists… This year, we’re excited to bring this same concept to the visual arts, setting the stage to bring the work from little-known emerging artists to a huge ‘gallery opening’ concept for tens of thousands.”
As always, Levitate places as much emphasis on atmosphere as it does on the lineup. The fairgrounds will be dotted with live art installations, a family-friendly Kids Zone, a marketplace highlighting local artisans, and a food truck village showcasing New England flavors. Eco-conscious practices remain a focus, reinforcing Levitate’s commitment to community and sustainability.
