Following the release of recent singles “808 HYMN” and “MACHINE GHOST,” alt-pop singer-songwriter and producer Erin LeCount has released her highly anticipated track, “I BELIEVE.” The synth-driven track, which is fully self-produced, pairs LeCount’s hauntingly beautiful voice with introspective lyrics, resulting in something that feels both expansive and deeply personal.
Regarding the track, LeCount shared: “‘I BELIEVE’ is a cynical, existential song about apathy, passiveness in your own life, disillusionment with the state of the world, what it feels like turning to every possible external source to tell you how to feel and exist – religion, self help books, magazines, astrology, lovers, antidepressants. I wrote it about a pursuit of perfection, faith and meaning soundtracked to relentless synth pop production.” Fans have been eager for the release of “I BELIEVE,” which LeCount has been teasing across socials and which debuted live during her sold-out La Lune Tour in December of 2025.
Along with the release, the live performance of “I BELIEVE,” filmed at her sold-out headline performance at London’s KOKO, is available now. LeCount’s long-time collaborators, Sam Taylor-Edwards and Kit Dale, who also worked on the music videos for “MACHINE GHOST” and “808 HYMN,” filmed and edited the performance.
LeCount wrapped up 2025 with the first leg of her headlining La Lune Tour, selling out venues in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, and London. In February, LeCount will bring the La Lune Tour overseas, with stops in Chicago, Toronto, Brooklyn, and Los Angeles. All of the original North American dates sold out quickly, and due to the demand, an additional show was added for Los Angeles on February 13. Tickets can be purchased here.
